My pick for best local christmas song this year would have to be Nat Jay’s ‘Green Tre

My pick for best local christmas song this year would have to be Nat Jay’s ‘Green Trees and Red Hearts’.  Co-produced by David Vertesi, the song has a sound that is becoming quite characteristic of Vancouver Pop artists like Vertesi and Hannah Georgas (Bang bang you’re dead). I think someone should come up with a name for the style and everyone should agree to claim the genre started in Vancouver. My vote was for synthcere, but as my good friend Jo McNo pointed out, it doesn’t look good in print. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Merry Xmas
