I’ve always been puzzled over whether the tune “My Favorite Things”, originally from the Sound of Music, is a Christmas Song or not. I will often hear it on Christmas playlists and radio stations at this time of year but I’ve had many a disagreement with folks who claim that it isn’t a Christmas song at all. Perhaps you can let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Either way, we’re not celebrating Christmas… entirely… we’re celebrating Freakmas!
For all that have entered thus far into the 12 Days of Freakmas fun, there is the full version of the video and a free mp3 download of the song waiting for you =)
For those that did not enter but would like to see the video and/or receive a free download you have until midnight tonight to enter. Just follow this link: http://bit.ly/freakmas , and sign up before it’s too late!
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be releasing a new music video for my song “I Miss the 80s” in just a few days on October 27th. Along with the release I’m also throwing a contest that starts NOW!
I want to see pics of you or your friends and family from that gawdy era known as the 80s. Post your pics to instagram, Facebook or twitter and make sure you hashtag #dominiquefricot and #imissthe80s. All contestants will be entered to win a CD, Tshirt and buttons package. As well all entries will receive a pre-view of the video before it’s released. Contest starts now!
Since I started making music I always fantasized about one day having one of my songs remixed. Well the day has finally arrived. I’m pretty impressed with this Haunted by Love Remix by the Parish of Little Clifton.
Now that my album has arrived, it’s time for me to hit the road with my very good friend and utterly amazing artist Hilary Grist.

I just had a brief stint of shows on Vancouver Island accompanied by my good friend Will. While there I decided this was the perfect occasion to get some work done. “Work” being the operative word when it came to drinking a bit too much and calling pledgers who had ordered a drunk-dial.
Unfortunately for us we didn’t manage to reach any of the pledgers directly. We did have some great conversations with their voice mail mind you. We also managed to get some video evidence of our efforts. To witness the tomfoolery for yourself, please check out my latest video update.
PS we also decided that with 15 days left to make our campaign goal it was a good opportunity to put 3 more drunk-dials up for grabs because they were so popular. Get ‘em while they’re hot!
